Cancellation Policy

At Tuft NYC, all services are by appointment so we can give you our full attention. Please review the appropriate policy below before booking. Different booking types (in-shop appointments, House Call, and Private Events) have different cancellation terms.
In-Shop Appointments
Booking & Payment

A valid credit card is required to reserve your appointment.

Your card will be charged in full at the time of booking confirmation.

Your card may be securely saved for future visits.

By providing your payment information and confirming your booking, you authorize Tuft NYC to charge your card immediately upon booking confirmation and acknowledge that you agree to this immediate charge.
Cancellations

Appointments canceled more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations must be made by phone or through your client portal. We do not accept cancellations via email, text message, or social media.

Appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time are non-refundable.
Running Late
-
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened, rescheduled, or canceled.

In these cases, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation and is non-refundable.
Missed Appointments
Missed appointments without notice will be charged in full and are non-refundable.
By Booking
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation Policy, Tuft NYC's Terms & Conditions, Tuft NYC's Privacy Policy, and Boulevard's Terms of Service. Tuft NYC reserves the right to refuse service or require prepayment for future bookings in cases of repeated cancellations or missed appointments.

House Call & Hotel Call Bookings
House Call services include all mobile barber appointments at private residences, hotels, offices, and other off-site locations.
Payment

Full payment is required in advance at the time of booking.

No House Call appointment is reserved until payment has been received in full.

By submitting your booking, you authorize Tuft NYC to charge your card in full at the time of booking confirmation.
Cancellations & Refunds

All House Call bookings, including hotel calls and any other off-site service, are NON-REFUNDABLE except when canceled by Tuft NYC.

If you (the customer) cancel or miss a House Call appointment for any reason, your payment is forfeited in full.

If Tuft NYC cancels a House Call appointment for any reason — including barber unavailability, unsafe location, or other circumstances — you are entitled to a full refund of any prepaid amounts.
By Booking
By booking a House Call, you acknowledge and agree to this non-refundable, prepaid policy, Tuft NYC's Terms & Conditions, Tuft NYC's Privacy Policy, and Boulevard's Terms of Service. You understand that no refund will be issued unless Tuft NYC cancels the appointment.

Private Events & Space Rental
Private events include all bookings for groups, corporate functions, brand activations, birthday parties, team gatherings, and other similar events, as well as private rental of our space.
Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your event date.

The deposit amount is determined per event and will be specified in your event agreement.

The deposit is forfeited in full if the event is canceled by the client for any reason.
Final Payment
Final payment terms, including amounts and due dates, are set by separate written agreement for each private event booking.
Custom Cancellation Terms
Private event bookings are subject to a separate written agreement that may include additional cancellation terms, minimum service requirements, venue-specific terms, and final payment due dates. The terms of that agreement govern any conflicts with this Cancellation Policy.
By Booking
By submitting a deposit or booking a private event or space rental, you acknowledge and agree to the non-refundable nature of the deposit, to any additional terms specified in your event agreement, and to Tuft NYC's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
